Infobase will showcase again at the NASCC 2004 Conference in Long Beach this year. Our booth will be located at #509 in the Detailers Pavilion. This is a once in a year opportunity for Structural Steel Professionals to learn the latest design and construction trends & techniques that directly impact their business and work practices. The conference will be held on Mar 24 – 27, 2004 at Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center, 300 East Ocean Boulevard, Long Beach, CA.

Infobase has been selected to detail the Aluminum Separation Facility of Omnisource Corporation - Daimler Chrysler. Omnisource Corporation is the largest privately held scrap processor in the United States. Omnisource provides a variety of services from vacuum processing of alloy solids to scrap management services for a variety of industry segments.
This project involves detailing of special elements like Stainless steel Chutes, transition pieces and Knock down hood, etc. This project is on a fast track and is scheduled to complete within four weeks.
Palo Alto gets new Cheesecake Factory

Infobase once again is chosen for detailing Cheesecake Factory Restaurant being built on tree lined University Avenue in downtown Palo Alto.
Palto Alto part of the San Francisco Metropolitan Bay Area and the Silicon Valley is in Santa Clara County and borders San Mateo County. The City encompasses an area of approximately 26 square miles, of which one-third is open space. The most well known Stanford University is located in Palo Alto..
This project has gone through several revisions and the contract drawings have changed to suit the new requirements. The new Cheesecake Factory modeling will be done using Xsteel 9.0 to reduce the delays in detailing and to cope up with the fast changes.
Infobase to detail Applied Materials Building in Santa Clara, CA

Infobase has been awarded with the detailing of Applied Materials Building in Santa Clara, CA.
Applied Materials is the world’s largest supplier of products and services to the global semiconductor industry. Applied materials innovates and commercializes the processing and manufacturing technology that helps semiconductor manufacturers produce the world’s most advanced chips. Applied materials has 12,000 employees worldwide and is head quartered in Silicon Valley, CA.
This project involves detailing columns, beams and wide flange bracings. The project mainly consists of three building with one of them being the addition to an existing building to suit the current needs. This project will be detailed using Xsteel and customer specific settings will be done in Xsteel to get the desired output.
Infobase to complete Caltrans San Jose Maintenance Facility

Infobase completed this fast track project in record five weeks. This project involved detailing of structural steel, canopies and miscellaneous items for six buildings. The complexity of the project was very high and added to this the project needed conversion from metric to imperial systems.

Infobase to detail the prestigious Baltimore Ravens Training Facility in MD

Infobase will do the connection design and detailing of NFL’s Baltimore Ravens Training Facility in Owings Mills, MD. This project involves detailing of structural steel and designing of all the connections. The detailing involved foundation plans & associated sections, column markup and detailed drawings, partial roof/floor framing plans and shop drawings for framing beams, brace elevation and miscellaneous items like bent plates, continuous angles, stub columns, floor opening and kickers.
Infobase to detail the Marine AMSA Building in CA

Infobase has been selected to detail the Marine AMSA Building in Northern California. This project involves detailing of steel columns which are on pile foundations, bottom chord framing with skewed beams connected to the columns with bent plates. The roof is hip & valley type with supporting joists, trusses, crane girders, crane rails and miscellaneous items like steel lintels & brace angles between joists. This project needs both imperial and metric dimensioning.
Infobase to start the Giant Supermarket Store in MD

Infobase will be detailing the Giant Supermarket Store #278 soon. The columns in this project are wide flanges supporting the roof framing beams. The main roof supports the deck with joists. The roof also has a condenser support framing. Infobase will provide the foundation bolt plan & sections, columns, posts for roll up grill, stair stringer supporting post, main roof framing plan, deck supporting angles, pour stops, condenser support framing posts and beams, mechanical mezzanine floor and roof framing and canopy framing plans with lintels, embedment, embedded channels and continuous angles.
Infobase completed a white paper on concept drawings for stairs and rails

Infobase has published a white paper on concept drawings for stairs and rails. These concept drawings provide total information to fabricate the stringers and rails as per the field conditions. These concept drawings give the fabricator the liberty to change any shop dimensions to suit the field dimensional requirements. Infobase wins 'Most Innovative Integration" award at 2001 Content Congress

Infobase, Inc., a Newark California based technology consulting and system integration company today won the Most Innovative Integration Award at the 2001 Content Congress held at the Copley Square Hotel in Boston Massachusettes. Infobase won the award for their integration of Eprise Participant server with ATG Dynamo Server.

Infobase announces completion of Teachers Finding Solutions Phase I

Streamline - a leading printing and mailing industry software provider engaged Infobase for building an Order Entry Module. This module is a component of the Direct Mail Management System created exclusively for mail houses and direct mail firms. A tightly integrated product, the Estimating/Order Entry Module combines robust user definable features with automatic re-use of information to ensure that after initial entry, information is stored, accessed, retrieved and organized in the right format. Streamline is in the process of building a web based Order Entry System for its customers to place orders on-line. Using the latest Microsoft technologies, Infobase is helping in building a robust and scalable solution for the internet age. The development is expected to be completed by May 2001.
